Gatherings Floral Design is a female owned & operated, full service floral design company. Founder Barbara Mele has been a florist since 2000, and established her own business in 2016. Through her studio, Barbara offers event design, wedding work, gifts, classes & mentorship. She supports women and minorities in the floral industry through networking, employment and education. Gatherings’ work has decorated Ciprani’s, The Palm House at Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Metropolitan Pavilion and many more grand New York City locations.
Barbara describes her style as “urban garden,” designs which embrace texture and nature’s abundance, juxtaposed with sleek elements that emulate life in the greatest city in the world.
